How to use “World Radio” to listen to internet broadcasts from around the world


Select A Station
  • Select a country from the drop-down in the bottom center of the radio panel.
  • A list of Internet broadcasting stations registered by the country name you selected will be displayed below.
  • A tag describing the characteristics of the broadcasting station will be displayed below the station name.
  • When you tap an item in the list, the station name will be displayed in the radio panel, and you will be able to hear the broadcast. (It may take some time to hear the broadcast depending on your connection conditions.)
  • If the station has an icon, it will be displayed on the left side of the radio panel.
  • If the station has a website, the icon will be a link to the website.
  • Tapping the station name will display station information, a volume controller, and other information below.(Tapping again will make the display disappear.)
Preset
  • Tap the check box to the left of each item in the list to check or uncheck it.
  • A checked station will be preset.
  • Unchecking it will remove it from the presets.
  • Tap on the left side of the radio panel will change the drop-down display to “Preset” and a list of preset stations will be displayed below.
  • Tap the button again to return to the original display.
  • You can also select the preset display from the drop-down.
  • You can freely mix and match stations from different countries in your presets.
  • You can have up to 999 presets.
  • Tapping to the left of each item will invoke a dialog that allows you to change the item’s list position or delete it.
Search
  • The search method differs depending on the number of characters in your search keyword.
  • Up to 2 characters: Stations with a matching first part of the name.
  • 3 characters or more: Stations with a name or tag that contains matching content.
  1. Enter your search text and tap “return” or “enter” key.
  2. The search will be cleared by reloading the page or by tapping “return” or “enter” without any search characters.
