Quick Start

The CC Xylophone consists of a Main Screen, several sub-screens (Settings, Utility, Play Along) and a User Guide (this document).
Note: The explanations related to the sub-screen apply if you have purchased the add-on feature, a trial add-on feature, or the paid version.

Main Screen

The main screen is the screen used for playing and is configured as shown below.

How to Hold

Place the device horizontally in your left palm.
Place your left thumb on the center of the sound controller, and we also recommend placing your right thumb or left pinky on the bottom of the device for support.
Note: Be mindful of the orientation of your device to avoid your palms covering the device's sound output.

Left-handed support
The main screen layout can be inverted for left-handed users using the "Left-Handed" switch in the "CC Xylophone" section of the device Settings app.
Settings > CC Xylophone > Left-Handed

Sound Controller

You can change the dynamics and effects of the performance by changing the position of the sound controller.

Sound Gauge

The Sound Gauge is a gadget that allows you to check the position of your touch on the controller, and a round dot acts as a cursor to indicate the touch position.
The dynamics of the performance can be changed by the left-right position of your touch; the further to the left you move the weaker the performance will be.
When you release the touch, the cursor returns to the center.
Two types of gauges are displayed depending on the selected musical instrument, and correspond to up and down control.

Vibraphone, Kalimba, Tubular Bells
  • Moving your touch upwards will add accent to the performance.
  • Moving the touch downwards will apply a damper effect to the performance.
Xylophone
  • Moving the touch upwards will produce a tremolo effect.
  • Moving the touch downwards will apply a damper effect to the performance.
